What does the termite treatment cost include?
At Knockout, we offer several different types of termite treatment for our Temecula customers, depending on the type of infestation. Our prices vary based on the type of treatment needed.
If you need a termite inspection as part of a real estate transaction, one of our licensed termite specialists will conduct a thorough inspection of your entire structure. At the end of the inspection, our technician will generate a Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) report. This report will list all of the findings from the termite inspection, including the type(s) of termites found (if any), the exact locations in which they were found, the type of damage that has occurred, and recommendations for repairs.
Most real estate lenders will require a WDO report before they will approve a loan for the purchase of a property. Our reports are very thorough, and we are able to generate them quickly, often in one day, so your real estate transaction does not get held up because of us.
When deciding which termite treatment to go with, we always recommend that you choose the most effective treatment possible. We often have customers request green termite treatment, such as orange oil termite treatment, or heat treatment, but these methods are spot treatments and are only effective on smaller, more localized termite problems. For larger termite infestations that are affecting multiple areas of the home or hard-to-reach areas, whole house fumigation, also known as “tenting,” may be the only way to go to eradicate all termites. Rest assured, tenting is completely safe when it is administered by trained, certified professionals like those at Knockout. The gas we use is non-residual, meaning it doesn’t linger and adversely affect your family or pets after the space has been properly aired out.
